Genesee Colorado

Personal

I was born in Phoenix, AZ where I spent the first 27 years of my life. I moved to the Denver area in 2005 to purse cooler, more enjoyable weather. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering in 2001. In 2011, I graduated from Colorado State University with a Master's in Computer Science. I'm also rather tall at 6'7".

Professional

I work full time as a software developer for Jacobs Engineering in downtown Denver. I've spent the last 10 years using Microsoft C#, SQL Server, and largely ASP.NET. Currently I'm working with WPF, WCF, and Fluent NHibernate. In my spare time I try to learn Python and Ruby as well as Android and iOS development. I am listed as an "inventor" on a U.S. Patent which my mom thinks is pretty cool.

Just For Fun

In addition to constantly trying to learn new languages I like to take photos and snowboard in the winter. Colorado offers some of the best of both of those. The photo above is a personal favorite I took while coming home from Breckenridge. My wife and I picked up snowboarding in 2009 and we both wish we'd tried it sooner.
